walk a tender line of sight with those I choose to draw.
It
helps to love an aspect - or aspects of your subject. Reproduce
them? No - add to them. Make them distinct.
Let
the viewer read their thoughts by a mere look and set of mouth.
Few portraitists will ever achieve this - and for the most of
us mere pencil hacks, we are constantly driven insane with this
addiction to that need to make our subjects stand
out and be distinct in the beauty you have captured for them on
paper.
